The other night I watched Grosse Point Blank. It fed several cravings in one serving:

• I’ve had daydreams recently of being a radio dj and Minnie Driver’s Debi Newberry has excellent taste. Incredible taste in music.
• My unshakable man-crush on John Cusack
• Joe Strummer did the music - I wish it was all available and I’ve listened to a lot of The Clash and his work with The Mescaleros. Only “War Cry” was on the More soundtrack.
• A bit of high school nostalgia brought on by footage from my high school’s senior send-off assembly my senior year and the fact that my twenty year reunion is next year.
• (Toots & The Maytals were name dropped by Newberry)
